I ordered the Doner Sandwich. So so delicious. The bread was soft and tasted freshly baked. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The meat was perfect, hot and freshly sliced. It was huge! Yet I was still sad when it was over, it was so good. I would eat this everyday!

I ordered the doner kebab and house seasoned fries. I got a ton of ketchup packets with the fries but didn't need any of them because the fries were that good. The doner itself is just like I remember eating in Germany. The bread is soft, the meat was well seasoned and the sauce was delicious. I'll have to order it with extra veggies next time because I like cucumbers and tomatoes on that kind of sandwich.

We tried loaded beef/lamb doner kebab, chicken doner wrap and fried mushrooms. All of them were tasty. Good food and friendly staff, Highly recommended!

I tasked my co-worker with finding somewhere to get lunch before we went to the airport and he found this spot. He knocked it out of the park. The doner kebab was unreal. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Every bite was perfect. I had the wings too and they were amazing as well. Can’t wait to come back to Detroit to have another!

Excellent food and service in a cozy space. The Doner Sandwich on the traditional round bread is amazing along with the loaded fries! I regularly eat or order from here and am impressed every single time. Highly recommend!

I was really in the mood for Bosnian food and came here. You know you're in for a treat if you're walking into a hole in the wall! I thought the food here was okay 👍 The Doner Kebab Sandwich was big on portions, and every bite was memorable. I also ordered Cevapi and wished it was bigger. The flavor is all there, but they are one biters. The bread used was deliciously buttered and toasted! Lastly, I ordered white rice and I loved how it was aromatic it was with subtle flavor. I also enjoyed the decor in the inside as had origin stories of serbia-balkan as well. I was hoping they had Burek but the staff directed me to a place that did carry it. The staff is absolutely 💯 I ordered takeout and wanted to try it out before I drove back and sat down for a quick bite, and the gentleman offered free water or fountain soda. If there is any reason I'd be back, it's because it's the little things like that -count ✨️

The team was welcoming, and very helpful since this was our first time dining at the Balkan House.. We asked to be served what they are well known for, which is the Doner Kebab and Falafel. We enjoyed the cuisine so much that we ordered take out two days later to share with my family members. Like us, they were extremely pleased! Thank you!
